Who writes the script for my company?

You will receive a suggested script about your company within 2 days of placing an order for service. Most often, we can write your script with information from your website. Once you approve the script, SoundWave records in our studio using a professional voice talent and your choice of background music.

Can we use our company's music (jingle)?

Yes! Soundwave can incorporate your existing commercials and jingles. We also offer a full library of music. The choices include jazz, soft rock, adult contemporary,classical and much more! The music is fully licensed for use with on-hold recordings provided by SoundWave.

Do I need any special equipment to use the service?

SoundWave provides a state-of-the-art USB digital on-hold player for those customers with a PBX phone system. Your custom recording is stored on an external USB flash drive. Simply insert the USB into the player for immediate high-quality, crystal-clear playback. SoundWave offers a 48 hour replacement if the player stops working for any reason. Customers must have a PBX telephone system to use the on-hold player provided.

Customers that have a VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) system will not need an on-hold player. We provide the custom recording in a wave or MP3 file formatted to work with any VOIP system. We email the custom recording to the customer to easily upload into their VOIP system.

Can you tell me more about the custom recordings?

The custom recording usually consists of 4 to 6 paragraphs. The recording is a continuous loop. Recordings are usually 2 - 4 minutes in length, but can be longer if needed (at no additional charge). SoundWave provides a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all recordings.

Do you require a contract? What are my payment options?

SoundWave does not require a contract. Service is offered on a month-to-month basis. The on-hold player is leased to the customer's with PBX or KEY phone systems. Upon cancellation of the service, customers must return the player and all components. If the equipment is not returned, an equipment charge of $295.00 will apply.

Payment terms offered are quarterly, semi-annually, annually and for 36-months.

To cancel service, customer needs to email or call with request. If customer paid for months of service that will not be used, a refund will be sent upon returning the on-hold player to SoundWave.

Custom Script

Soundwave will compose your custom script and email it to you for review. The scrit is usually 4-8 paragraphs and will highlight many aspects of your company. These will include your services, products, location, website, hours of business and more.

Background Music
Once you approve our script, you will choose your background music from our huge selection of fully licensed choices. You can change your music and script (depending on the plan you choose) to provide holiday music or to highlight special events or promotions for your company.
Recording Studio
Soundwave will record your script in our state-of-the-art recording studio. We use professional voice talents and mix with your choice of background music. Your crystal clear recording will be formatted for easy upload to your USB drive or VOIP phone system.
